On June 10, 2004, the World Water Rescue Foundation premiered its Iris awards in Desert Hot Springs, California. WWRF spokesman, David Carridine presented statues sculpted by Bruce M. Coyle to world honoree recipients. Receivers of these awards were, the U.N. Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Rashid Alimov, and Mary Gibson of Desert Hot Springs California who were honored for their outstanding contributions to the Global Water Preservation. In addition to sculpting the Iris Awards, Bruce contributed two posters of his works that depict wildlife in water and the commemorative posters were auctioned at the World Water fund raiser. These posters were made from two of Bruce's works in which he utilized his unique watercolor on metal technique to create the Manatees poster and the Sea Turtle poster. The first two prints of these works now hang in the Desert Hot Springs Museum of Natural History. You too can own a beautiful print commemorating this significant event that honors and preserves our precious gift of water.
